  1. Do I have to pay anything to find a job through Skyline Staffing?
    No. Our services are always free of charge to job seekers.
  2. How do I get started?
    Your first step is to (Link to Apply for jobs online and/or Link to submit a resume) if there is no current posting that matches your background. We will reach out to you if your qualifications align with our open positions. At that time, we will schedule to meet with you.
  3. What should I expect of my interview?
    You should prepare for a formal job interview. Dress professionally and be prepared to discuss your skills, knowledge and goals. You should plan to spend an hour and a half with us. In addition to the interview, you may be asked to take a skills evaluation if you have not already completed one online.
  4. What information should I plan to provide for my interview/appointment?
    You will need to bring the following to your appointment:
    A) Document(s) which will verify your identity and your eligible to work. A list of acceptable documents can be found here.
    B) A copy of your resume.
    C) Contact information for all jobs listed on your application. We require a minimum of two references. Provide contact information for at least two former employers/supervisors. Other options could be former peers, subordinates, clients, vendors, or volunteer work.
    D) Note: You may complete and submit our online application to save time at your appointment. Please be sure to call before your interview to verify that we have received your application.
  5. I have finished my initial interview. What’s next?
    When we have an opportunity that is a fit, we will call you and discuss the available position. We strive to match the right employees to the most suitable positions and experience. This is based on requirements given to us by our clients and your preferences, skills, and previous job experience.
  6. What does it mean to be a temporary or temporary-to-hire employee?
    Working with Skyline Staffing as a temporary or temporary-to-hire employee means that we serve as your employer of record, and are responsible for all employer obligations (payroll, taxes, benefits, etc.). The actual work is done at the client company’s location, and in accordance to their rules and regulations.
  7. Is it possible to become a full-time employee?
    Yes! Many companies choose to hire their temporary/contract employee after the temporary assignment period.
  8. How long are most temporary/contract jobs?
    While specific jobs may last from a few hours to several years, the best estimates for the average tenure of temporary and contract employees range from three to four months.
  9. Does Skyline Staffing ONLY offer temporary positions?
    No. We fill temporary, contract, temporary-to-hire and direct hire opportunities.
